Retrieving your belongings from the lost and found

If you are able to come to the office where your belongings are being held:

To return your belongings, we need to confirm your identity. When you come to the office where your belongings are being held (the appropriate station office or bus terminal, or the Lost and Found Center at Futamatagawa Station), be sure to bring an acceptable form of ID, such as a driver's license, a health insurance card, or a passport.

If you are unable to pick up your belongings in person (If you want to arrange for someone else to pick up your belongings)

You can submit a letter of authorization to allow someone else to pick up your belongings on your behalf.
The person who picks up your belongings on your behalf (your authorized representative) must bring the following documents to the office where your belongings are being held (the appropriate station office or bus terminal, or the Lost and Found Center at Futamatagawa Station):

  • A letter of authorization from you (the authorizer)
  • An acceptable form of ID that can be used to identify the authorizer (original or copy)
  • An acceptable form of ID that can be used to identify the representative (original only)
